Becky Laduke has been with the Brown Plastic Surgery Program for 15+ years during which time she has been an advocate and mentor for medical students, residents, faculty and staff. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, renovating and refurbishing homes in Narragansett, RI. Additionally she is an accomplished cellist and plays in the Warwick Symphony Orchestra with our Chairman, Dr. Liu.
Cindy Ruel has recently joined the Plastic Surgery Residency Program after serving in many administrative roles at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Lifespan, Rhode Island Hospital, and their medical/surgical foundation affiliates. Cindy brings more than 20 years of experience, touching on all aspects of healthcare, hospital, and biomedical faculty administration, as well as hands-on clinical practice management to our program. She has a unique perspective and a strong understanding of the needs of medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty as they navigate the demands and challenges that they face as they progress through each stage of their career. Cindy loves to bake, cook, and entertain, and is an avid reader. She lives with her family in a historic 1835 Colonial home in Cumberland, RI that was a “fixer-upper” which she and her husband lovingly and constantly renovate and revamp.
