Our team welcomes visiting medical students who are interested in experiencing the breadth and depth of academic plastic surgery training within a collaborative and supportive environment. Our visiting student rotations provide hands-on exposure to a diverse range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures while offering opportunities to work closely with residents and faculty across multiple clinical settings.

Visiting Medical Students

Our team welcomes visiting medical students who are interested in experiencing the breadth and depth of academic plastic surgery training within a collaborative and supportive environment. Our visiting student rotations provide hands-on exposure to a diverse range of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures while offering opportunities to work closely with residents and faculty across multiple clinical settings.

We are excited to host visiting medical students.  We welcome inquiries from 4th-year students currently attending U.S. medical schools who are in good academic standing and wish to participate in an elective/sub-internship with our team. 

We have a busy service with an eclectic faculty and residents dedicated to teaching, offering rotating students a great opportunity to experience the breadth of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery in a supportive environment.  Visiting Medical Students can visit The Warren Alpert Medical School's Visiting Student Program page for information about requirements and applying for the Plastic Surgery elective.
